(OTCBB:VOPT) Tuesday announced that it is in the process of installing Clarent servers in the Asia-Pacific Region as part of an aggressive VoIP deployment program, extending service to several cities in select South and East Asian countries over the next 18 months.

IBC also reported today that Japan-based NTT DoCoMo is negotiating purchase of an equity interest in VoiceStream Wireless (Nasdaq:VSTR). The terms of the deal were not announced yet, but it could total billions, reported The Wall Street Journal.
