LUND, Sweden, March 19, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Precise Biometrics has signed a three-year preferred partner agreement with one of the leading security companies in Asia, Apro Asian Protection Pte Ltd. The agreement concerns Precise Biometrics' fingerprint readers for physical access control, for which Apro already has placed an initial order.
The agreement means that Precise Biometrics is Apro's preferred partner and provider of biometric physical access control systems in Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.
Apro is a highly respected security company in partnership with Securitas AB Sweden and owned by Securitas to 49%.
