STOCKHOLM, Sweden, June 13, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Wihlborgs has sold twelve properties, including residential properties in Bagarmossen, and has signed a letter of intent with regard to sale of a shopping centre in Lund. The combined sales totals, including the shopping centre, SEK 793 million. The total profit is SEK 112 million.
Shopping centre in Lund
Wihlborgs and Rodamco Sverige AB have signed a letter of intent with regard to the sale of a shopping centre in Lund to Rodamco. Wihlborgs is taking possession of the shopping centre on 12 September 2002 and Rodamco is acquiring the centre as of 13 September.
The shopping centre is currently being constructed by JM for Wihlborgs. In total, the centre includes around 70 shops with a total area of around 19,200 m2. The shopping centre is being opened on 19 September.
Conversions into cooperative flats in Stockholm Wihlborgs has also sold four properties with a total area of around 14,400 m2 to newly formed housing cooperatives in Bagarmossen, outside Stockholm. Following the sale, Wihlborgs still has one residential property, with a total area of 22,447 m2, in Bagarmossen.
Sales in the Oresund region
In Malmo Wihlborgs has sold five properties, three of which are residential properties, with a total area of around 13,000 m2. The buyers are private investors. Wihlborgs has also sold the project properties (undeveloped land) Amerika Sodra 9-11, 15 and 27 in Helsingborg as well as Lundakra 12:10 (part of) in Landskrona.
Other
Wihlborgs has also sold the property Kungsangens Kyrkby 2:76, Upplands- Bro, with a total area of 3,448 m2.
