STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Oct. 15, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- During the past few months, ReadSoft has closed a number of prestigious INVOICES deals in the Benelux countries. For instance, the global provider of agricultural products Monsanto and the petrochemical company Borealis have chosen ReadSoft to process vast quantities of supplier invoices. The total order value is approximately 350,000 USD.
A common denominator is that both Borealis and Monsanto run the SAP R/3 business system. ReadSoft's certified SAP integration has played a crucial role in their decisions to invest in the INVOICES software. From now on, the processing of supplier invoices will be carried out in a highly automated fashion.

Borealis is a petrochemical company and one of the leading producers in Europe and also a significant supplier on the global market. The main business comes from serving the plastics manufacturing industry with raw material. With INVOICES, Borealis will reach a high level of flexibility and automation in the overall invoice process. Borealis has created a shared financial service centre serving seven countries. The invoices will be scanned locally and processed centrally in Mechelen, Belgium.
Monsanto is a leading global provider of agricultural products and integrated solutions. Chemicals, seeds, and bio-technology are used to improve farm productivity and food quality. The direct interaction with the SAP system was an important feature for Monsanto. This increases the data quality and automatically matches purchase orders against the information in the SAP system. Monsanto will be able to process a large number of invoices with considerably improved efficiency.
