Rune Nyberg Director of Human Resources at TeliaSonera AB


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Dec. 10, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Rune Nyberg has been appointed as the Director of Human Resources for the new TeliaSonera-Group (Nasdaq:TLSN). He will assume his duties during the spring, June 1, 2003 at the latest. Rune Nyberg comes from Sandvik AB, where he has served as Director of Human Resources since 1996.

Rune Nyberg is 53 years old and has long and solid experience in human resources with leading positions at AB DAGAB, JS Saba AB and PAIR Ltd.

Between 1982 and 1992, Rune Nyberg served as Director of Human Resources at AB Sandvik Coromant, and between 1992 and 1995, he was President of PAIR Ltd. in London. Since 1996, Rune Nyberg has served as Group Vice President at Sandvik AB. Rune Nyberg is the chairman of the boards of AB Sandvik Service, Sandvik South East Asia Pty Ltd. and Goranssonska Skolan. He is also a member of the board of Seco Tools AB.

Lars Harenstam, previously Director of Human Resources at Telia AB, has been appointed as Director of Human Resources for Coop Norden, with its head office in Gothenburg.
