STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 15, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Artimplant's (Other OTC:APLTF) GMC will perform knee prosthesis surgery under the contract during an initial two year term with an optional extension of two more years. Gothenburg Medical Center, (GMC) is a private clinic specializing in orthopaedic diseases and injuries. The clinic has unique knowledge in knee surgery, and performs approximately 1000 surgeries annually, of which 700 are knee surgeries. GMC consists of an outpatient clinic, an operation department, a ward and a physical therapy department.
