Buy.com Lowers Prices to 15% Off Amazon.com's Book Prices for Three Days Only


ALISO VIEJO, Calif., July 8, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Buy.com, Inc., The Internet Superstore(tm), today announced it will lower its book prices to 15% below Amazon.com's book prices for a special three-day period. From July 11-13, Buy.com customers can shop online and receive books at 15% off Amazon.com's price. This offer marks the one-year anniversary of Buy.com's "10% below Amazon.com's book prices" campaign, which was wildly successful and is still in place today.

"We want to remind our existing customers -- and show new customers -- that Buy.com has great, low prices on hundreds of thousands of book titles," said Robert Price, president of Buy.com. "We are expecting to double our book sales during the three days of this offer."
