Viastar Holdings, Inc.: Moving Pictures Revenue Exceeds Projections: Reorganization Proving A Success

PHOENIX, Sept. 18, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Moving Pictures, a Viastar Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB:VISH) publication, exceeded revenue projections for its Summer Issue (US $7.50) and its International Film Festivals Guide (US $25). With the recent reorganization of Moving Pictures and the addition of London and Los Angeles based Advertising personnel, revenues are up by 48 percent from original projections for these issues.

In a time when the international film industry is still making strides to rebuild business, Moving Pictures has reorganized its model to include both a core monthly publication (beginning in early 2004) and a Custom Publishing Group that will take on the creation and publication of festival previews, dailies and special industry guides. This model was adopted in late July of this year and has proven a success.

"The publishing of our Summer Issue and Festival Guide through the new Custom Publishing Group allowed us to focus on strong content, improve and expand distribution plans. It also gave us the opportunity to better meet our clients publishing needs," said Rick McCartney, Senior Vice President of Viastar Publishing.

The appointment of both Andrea Korpita, U.S. Advertising Director formerly with PBI Media and Variety in Los Angeles, and Richard Poole, U.K. Advertising Manager formerly with ArtReview Magazine in London, puts Moving Pictures in a stronger position than ever.

"These two appointments are a part of our overall strategy to increase advertising revenues and position Moving Pictures as a global publishing brand," said John Aquilino, President of Viastar Holdings, Inc. The U.K. Advertising Director will focus on Europe, Asia, Latin America and Australia, while the U.S. Advertising Director will be concentrating on North America and Canada.
