BAY CITY, Mich. and TORONTO, Nov. 18, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Ugomedia Interactive Corporation (OTCBB:UGMI) (name change to Sciax Corp. pending) has not filed the 10-KSB report that was due within the prescribed time period. It is anticipated that the return will be filed by December 13th, 2003. The fiscal year end of Ugomedia Interactive was changed from December 31st to July 31st in order to coincide with the year end of its principle operating subsidiary Sciax Technology Inc.
The extensive accounting work required to prepare the financial statements and reports for this change in year end prevented the company from being able to file its report on time. As a result an 'E' can be expected after the trading symbol of UGMI.
All other periodic reports required under Section 13 or 15(d) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 or Section 30 of the Investment Company Act of 1940 during the preceding 12 months or for such shorter period that the registrant was required to file have been filed.
It is anticipated that there are no significant changes resulting from operations from the corresponding period for the last fiscal year. The company anticipates having the 'E' removed no later then December 15th 2003.
