DMT Energy Inc. Commences Testing on Acadia, Alberta Gas Strike While Beginning Preparations for 2004 Drilling Program


CALGARY, Alberta, Canada, Dec. 17, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- DMT Energy, Inc ("DMT" or the "Company") (Pink Sheets:DMTY) announces commencement of testing of potential productive zones on Acadia gas strike. DMT's partner, Endless Energy Corp. placed a test rig on site Dec 15, with initial results expected by week's end.

DMT President & CEO Fred DaSilva announced: "We anxiously anticipate test results on the Acadia property. Meanwhile, we expect to announce initial plans for our 2004 drilling program, which we plan to expand to prospects in the United States, along with our Canadian assets. We intend to continue in an aggressive drilling program, while continuing our low-risk, high potential revenue strategy."
