Saab AB publishes its Annual Report 2003 online

LINKOPING, Sweden, Feb. 25, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- At 12 noon (CET) today, February 25, Saab AB will publish its annual report for 2003 on its website, www.saab.se. The printed annual report will be available to shareholders on March 1 and can be ordered as of February 27.

Saab's annual report 2003 consists of two parts, a presentation of Saab and a financial report, which are being published today on the website.

The annual report explains the last year's increased order bookings, primarily from the export market, which has given Saab a record-high order backlog. It also explains Saab's strategy of combining high- quality systems and systems integration capabilities with world-class defence products for the global market. The company's extensive investments in research and development, which are important to society as a whole, are described as well.

The annual report published in PDF format on Saab's website is more user friendly than the printed version. Users can, for example, search for texts throughout the document, use the links from the income statement and balance sheet directly to the notes, and directly index each note.

In addition, the income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows are provided as separate Excel documents on Saab's website to facilitate analyses of the figures.

Saab is one of the world's leading high-technology companies, with its main operations focusing on defence, aviation and space. The group covers a broad spectrum of competence and capabilities in systems integration.
