VoIP MDU.COM Fine Tunes Its Softphone Program For Launch This Month

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, June 2, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- VoIP MDU.COM (Pink Sheets:VPMD) today announced that it will launch its VoIP Softphone Program to over 250,000 active members from a major North American company's database later this month. The original launch date was scheduled for today, June 1st, 2004 (See Press Release dated May 18th, 2004, "VoIP MDU.COM To Launch VoIP Softphone Program . . . .") but the Company's recent announcement (See Press Release dated May 28th, 2004, "VoIP MDU.COM Enters into Joint Venture . . . .") involving its partner, INSINC (www.insinc.com) necessitated several refinements in the revenue model and an expanded network to accommodate the influx of new business.

The joint venture partners are now establishing a helpdesk call center to support end-user installations of their next-generation VoIP analog telephone adaptor (ATA) units. Support will also be offered for Softphone configuration, enabling users to directly hook up their computers to VoIP technology. The monthly subscriber fee will be $14.95 USD per month for the basic service that will include unlimited toll-free calling minutes across North America. Revenues will also be enhanced with additional available features including prepaid telephone cards, long distance, video streaming and conferencing.

Free telephone calling will be provided to other Softphone users from PC to PC or PDAs using a USB headset or handset. Subscribers will be able to connect with any PC or laptop, with the option to upgrade to a gateway or IP telephone for personal or business calls. And for Softphone users calling regular telephone numbers anywhere in the world, the Company will offer long distance bundles for savings up to 70%.

INSINC's network operations will expand its facilities to accommodate the new business expected by the VoIP MDU.COM initiative. INSINC will manage switch partitioning, co-location requirements, network operation services and wholesale VoIP long distance termination and origination requirements. Further developments on VoIP MDU.COM's Softphone Program will be made later this month.

Richard Kipping, Chairman and CEO of VoIP MDU.COM also announced that he expects the Company to now begin preparations for filing requirements so that VoIP MDU.COM will be listed on the OTC Bulletin Board. The date for this listing will be contingent on regulatory authorities.
