ECSI Receives Over $850,000 In Purchase Orders For Nuclear Power Station Security


CLIFTON, N.J., June 7, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Electronic Control Security, Inc. (OTCBB:EKCS), a leading provider of security solutions to governments and corporations worldwide, today announced it has received commitments and finalized purchase orders to upgrade the security at three more nuclear power stations: Connecticut Yankee, Southern Nuclear and two of Duke's nuclear generating stations. The combined orders are valued at more than $850,000.

Under the agreement, ECSI International, a wholly owned subsidiary, will deliver its Infrared Perimeter Intrusion Detection System (IPIDS(r)), one of its premiere product lines designed to prevent unauthorized entry or access to high threat complexes during May and June.

ECSI was awarded one of two small business set-aside contracts by the Department of Defense under the Air Forces' Integrated Base Defense Security System program (IBDSS). The program's directive is the upgrade of over one hundred military installations worldwide.
