CUMMING, Ga., July 7, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- PlanetLink Communications Inc. (OTCBB:PLKC), a provider of satellite-based products and services, announced today that it has completed agreement on its first order of 400 units of the TransTRAK mobile locator device to Mexico-based Estrella Blanca, SA.
The order comes as a result of successful testing and implementation of the TransTRAK locator in a live environment enabling the company to wirelessly monitor and track vehicle location and behavior. The contract calls for the initial delivery of 400 units within the next quarter for Estrella Blanca, SA whose total fleet encompasses over 5,000 vehicles.
Engineer Arturo Sanchez, Executive Vice President of Estrella Blanca, SA stated yesterday, "This tracking technology is a gold mine for our company. It is a tremendous benefit for the Mexican bus and trucking industry."
