iMedia and FX Networks Complete 3rd Project for New Television Series `Rescue Me'

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Aug. 2, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- iMedia US LLC, the operating subsidiary of iMedia International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:IMNL), has announced the completion and distribution of its third interactive promotional disc for FX Networks, LLC, to promote the new television show "Rescue Me".

During the week of July 12th-18th, 665,000 interactive CD-ROM discs were distributed throughout New York City via inserts in the Daily News, New York Post and Newsday. The discs were also handed-out at strategic NYC street locations.

"Rescue Me" is FX Network's newest nighttime drama based upon the real heroes of the New York City Fire Department. The show debuted commercial-free on July 21st to almost 4.1 million viewers, the best for any new show on ad-supported cable in 2004. "Rescue Me" now ranks No. 8 in all-time series premieres on basic cable.

"This disc marks our third project for FX Networks, and follows up the success we enjoyed with the shows `24' and `Nip/Tuck'" says , CEO of iMedia International. "We averaged a 76.3% user response for `Nip/Tuck' and 24.4% for `Rescue Me' which was very encouraging, especially for a brand-new show. Not surprisingly, both of these shows posted phenomenal ratings for their season premiers. We would like to think that our promotional media played a part in this success."

"With the large number of channel choices now available to consumers, it is becoming harder and harder for television networks to reach their targeted demographic audience with a multi-media presentation. Discs have shown themselves to be an effective way to reach this audience, as they can be distributed as inserts in newspapers and magazines. Because many print publishers profile their subscribers, iMedia can now exploit these established audiences and deliver a television-quality message to viewers, even if they are not currently watching TV." says Kevin Plate, EVP of Sales and Business Development for iMedia US.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
