JERUSALEM, Israel, August 25, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Yaacov Shoham, CEO and spokesman for Identa Corp. (Pink Sheets:IDTA), released this first bulletin on major news of the sales and distribution department and R&D department as follows:
1. Two prominent officials of the Interior Ministry -- Romania and
the Anti Drug Authority, this week made a lightning two day
visit to the Identa Plant in Jerusalem that resulted in a major
increase (worth hundreds of thousands dollars) in their on going
purchase of Identa Stinger kits from their excess budget for the
year 2004. They also expressed their interest in distributing
Identa Kits and materials throughout the Educational System of
Rumania and they plan to include this in next years (2005)
budget.
2. A second order from the US leader of pharmaceutical supplies,
AbDiagnostics, of Palm Bay Florida, has just been received in
Identa offices. This can be seen as another breakthrough in the
ongoing penetration of the open retail market. See their web

3. The Board of Identa unanimously agreed to extend for another 3
year period, the appointment of Baruch Glattstein, (inventor of
the Identa Drug Detector Kits) as Head of Research and
Development.
4. Identa CEO, Yacov Shoham, recently returned from a whirlwind
visit to the USA where in four days he traveled across the East
Coast and met with four different companies active in supplying
Homeland Security Products in the US and abroad. One has the GSA
approval and all have direct connections with Homeland Security
Department. All have agreed to work together with Identa in the
Marketing and Sales; more information about the companies will
be made public as soon as the agreements bear fruit. This, is
above and beyond the existing activity in the US that was
published earlier this year.
