NEW YORK, Sept. 30, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Travel expert Stephanie Abrams, host of the nationally syndicated radio show, "Travel WITH Stephanie Abrams!" which airs coast-to-coast on the Business TalkRadio Network, announced today that she is a sponsor of the second annual New York Times Travel Show, which will take place March 4th, 5th, and 6th 2005, at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. As a sponsor of the event, Abrams plans to provide her radio audience with regular updates on the special programs and the exhibitors who will be participating at the show.

"The first NYTimes Travel Show, held in February, 2004, was like the World's Fair of Travel!" Abrams states. "The New York Times created a spectacular arena for both the professional in travel and the traveling public to interface with cruise lines, tour operators, hoteliers and global destinations to learn about the unique offerings each travel supplier has created to meet the specific needs of individual travelers and niche markets. It was a supermarket for those with wanderlust!" Abrams states.

Asked why she is sponsoring he event, Abrams explains, "The NYTimes Travel Show provides a unique opportunity for people interested in travel to interface with representatives of travel suppliers and people from destinations who are the experts on their products and regions. Travelers can get answers to their specific travel questions and learn about travel opportunities that will enrich their lives and create the kind of uplifting, inspiring and rejuvenating experiences that keep people's lives focused on the priorities of living in our challenging times. Getting away is the best preparation for living well at home!"

"Travel WITH Stephanie Abrams!", heard weekly on Sundays in the 7pm to 9pm EST time slot nationally and globally at her award-winning website, www.sabrams.com, will feature information and interviews regularly through February 2005 with companies who will be exhibiting at the show. Abrams will be prominently featured on the exhibit floor of the NYTimes Show with a "Business TalkRadio Network On-the-Air," venue where key executives of travel companies exhibiting at the show will be interviewed for broadcast to Abrams' coast-to-coast audience.

Additionally, Abrams will be leading a panel of experts, which she is assembling on a subject she says is one of her favorite travel interests: shopping! "This is a subject I understand and am well-experienced in!" Abrams states. "My home and office are filled with wonderful treasures that are constant reminders of specials visits to incredible places all over the world! This seminar, along with the others being offered, will add a special dimension for those who attend the show. The NYTimes is bringing the world of destinations and travel suppliers to one easily accessible location for travelers to sample!" Abrams concludes.
