Asia Broadband Sets up Partnership with China's Leading Kids Portal


ATLANTA and SHANGHAI, People's Republic of China, Oct. 20, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Management of Asia Broadband, Inc. (Pink Sheets:ASAB) is pleased to announce that China's leading kids Internet portal www.chinakids.net.cn (Chinakids) has adopted the Company's online IE21 E-Ya Kids English program as the major kids English learning content for its nationwide online pre-paid card product line.

The Company has entered a three-year sales and distribution partnership agreement with Chinakids through its China subsidiary, Shanghai Broadband Network, Inc. This partnership provides a nationwide sales and distribution channel for the IE21 E-Ya kids English online program.

The partnership agreement becomes effective October 2004 and states that Chinakids will include the IE21 E-Ya Kids English online program (www.eyakids.com) to its pre-paid "Kids Card" product line which is being distributed nationwide to enable children to access online educational content. The online pre-paid cards give users access to educational games and learning programs provided by Chinakids' key content partners.

Yuguo Zhang, the CEO of Asia Broadband and Shanghai Broadband said: "We are very pleased that Chinakids selected our state-of-the-art game-based E-Ya Kids English learning program as their primary kids English learning online program. This partnership will help us solidify a strong position in the retail market while expanding the distribution area of our Interactive Education-IE21 programs and solutions."

"According to the Agreement, Chinakids has given us a commitment to distribute a minimum of 50,000 sets of its pre-paid 'Kids Card' with our E-Ya Kids online English program, this will bring us a very solid incremental revenue stream for our kids English programs," Mr. Zhang added.
