Quantech Wins a Project with CK Group (UK)


DENVER and LONDON, Nov. 18, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Quantech Electronics Corp. (Pink Sheets:QANT), through its wholly owned subsidiary DimiTel Ltd., announced today that it will be switching and billing wholesale VoIP traffic for the CK Group in the U.K.

DimiTel Ltd., the experienced voice applications and voice-billing provider, will utilize its comprehensive switching and billing system for the service, permitting up to 200 E1's of capacity, equivalent of over 6,000 concurrent calls.

DimiTel's switching and billing service for the CK Group, a prominent U.K. Telco operator with expertise in switching U.K. traffic, will allow the expansion of CK Group's capacity and entrance into the VoIP routing arena.

According to the Quantech CEO, Mr. Rony Cohen, "we are delighted to be working with CK Group and happy that they have chosen the DimiTel solution". DimiTel's switching and billing system consists of the ability to create customers, tariffs, tariff-plans alongside user groups and user management features. Utilizing external Radius Servers, the DimiTel solution turns into a Virtual Telco billing system, enabling the owner to provide billing services to multiple resellers and distributors.
