Quantech Electronics Launches Calling Card Service for Internet Gold


LONDON, Jan. 4, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Quantech Electronics Corp. (Pink Sheets:QANT), through its wholly owned subsidiary DimiTel Ltd, announced today that its advanced platform is powering the recently launched calling card service by Internet Gold in Israel.

Internet Gold (Nasdaq:IGLD) has recently announced that its 015 International Telephony business plans to enter Israel's NIS 100 million calling card market with a launch of prepaid and postpaid calling card services, and set itself a target of acquiring a 10% market share of Israel's calling card market.

The new contract is a result of the ongoing successful cooperation with Yamatel UK Limited, one of Quantech's strategic marketing partners.
