DAVIE, Fla., April 13, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- China Direct Trading Corporation's (OTCBB:CHDT) subsidiary Souvenir Direct Inc. (SDI) will be exhibiting at the annual Hong Kong Trade Counsel's gift fair from April 27th to May 1st. The show is one of the largest in the world drawing 75,000 buyers from over 50 countries. CHDT will exhibit in the Grand Hall in Booth number 5P 11.
SDI has become a supplier to the casino industry with its patent pending spinner key rings, and in order to keep up with the perceived growing popularity and demand for Poker accessories, CHDT will be introducing a new spinner card keeper. Card guards are used to signal to the dealer that a person will stay in the game by covering his or her cards with our new "Card Keeper." The items come in different shapes and sizes and can be easily customized for casinos, tournaments, and others.
Currently card guards are selling in the market at anywhere from $8.00 to $25.00 on many websites and through casino suppliers. SDI will market its product for under one dollar to wholesale buyers and seeks a large portion of this business overseas by introducing very attractive pricing to distributors currently buying from domestic suppliers. "Currently, suppliers are having trouble keeping this hot selling item in stock as domestic production capacity is limited. SDI looks to fill in this supply gap as it can produce over 1 million pieces a month," said Howard Ullman, CEO of SDI. "We are excited to launch our line of card keepers at the upcoming Hong Kong Gift Fair," he said.
