eGames CEO Challenges The Chesapeake Bay for Charity

Pennies Count Too! Will Contribute to Special Operations Warrior Foundation

LANGHORNE, Pa., May 26, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- eGames, Inc. (OTCBB:EGAM), a publisher of Family Friendly(TM), affordable consumer entertainment PC software games, today announced that Jerry Klein, President and CEO, will again participate in the 4.4 mile Great Chesapeake Bay Swim, www.bayswim.com on Sunday, June 12, 2005. The Great Chesapeake Bay Swim (Bay Swim) is one of America's premier open water swim challenges.

The Bay Swim is a charitable fundraiser for the March of Dimes. The net proceeds of the event aid the March of Dimes in its Campaign for Healthier Babies. This will be Klein's eighteenth attempt of the race that he's successfully completed sixteen times. This year Klein is dedicating his effort to another worthy cause in addition to the March of Dimes, and that is the Special Operations Warrior Foundation which provides college scholarship grants, based on need, along with financial aid and educational counseling to the children of Special Operations personnel who were killed in an operational mission or training accident. The Special Operations Warrior Foundation's (www.specialops.org) mission is devoted to providing a college education to every child who has lost a parent while serving in the Special Operations Command during an operational or training mission.

"Every year, I dedicate my Bay Swim effort to a special cause in addition to the March of Dimes. This past year a very dear personal friend, who was a supporter and advocate of the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, died suddenly. I hope to honor her memory by dedicating this year's effort to this very worthy cause that she cared deeply about," commented Klein. "I began competing athletically in 1983 and early on I was awe-struck by the many special athletes that compete while overcoming some injury or disease. These special athletes are particularly inspirational because I know the difficulty of training for an endurance event and I don't have any special needs. Compounding the difficulty of training and competing because of some special need requires an extraordinary commitment. The often-unsung heroes who sacrifice their lives while serving in the Special Operations Command understand the greatest meaning of extraordinary commitment. I personally do not believe there can be any greater commitment and I wish to honor those many deserving heroes while I honor the memory of my friend. It's fitting too that these heroes are remembered and honored at this time of the year as we prepare to celebrate our national Memorial Day holiday. The eGames Pennies Count Too! fund will contribute $1,000 to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation," added Klein.
