DAVIE, Fla., July 12, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- China Direct Trading Corp. (OTCBB:CHDT) announced today that the Company's subsidiary, Souvenir Direct Inc. (SDI), will add more items to its retail poker website www.pokercardkeepers.com .
The company is currently receiving online orders for its new poker card keepers, which sell online yielding a ten times markup, yet still selling at three times less than most other U.S. based suppliers. SDI normally earns a 10% to 30% markup when trading goods and not inventorying products, however, management has decided to stock these items due to the unusually high margins.
The company will begin expanding the items being offered on its website and will add playing cards next month at similar profit margins. SDI is also developing an eBay store, as many of these similar items are currently being sold for three to five times the price of SDI's items. The company will open the store next month upon receipt of additional inventory from overseas.
