Pappas Telecasting Companies Names Brock Kruzic Director of National Sales - Los Angeles


LOS ANGELES, Aug. 25, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Pappas Telecasting Companies, the largest privately-held, commercial television broadcast group in the United States, today announced the appointment of Brock Kruzic to the position of Director of National Sales - Los Angeles, effective immediately. In his new position, he is responsible for national sales for Pappas' general market and Azteca America stations, sales of special event programming, new business development, and sales for all Pappas Web sites. Mr. Kruzic will report to Gerald Linehan, Senior Vice President, National Spot Sales of Pappas Telecasting Companies' Television Station Group.

In making the announcement, Mr. Linehan said, "We are excited about having Brock join our national sales team. He brings a unique blend of station, rep firm, and agency experience which will prove invaluable to us in our national sales efforts in Los Angeles."

Mr. Kruzic commented, "I'm excited about the challenges placed before me at Pappas Telecasting. Tremendous opportunities for growth exist in both traditional media and new media, and I believe that our company is well-positioned to exploit those opportunities."

Most recently, Mr. Kruzic served as National Sales Manager for Viacom's KCAL-TV in Los Angeles. Prior to that, he was National Sales Manager for Belo's WB affiliate in Phoenix, KASW-TV. Previously, he held sales and sales management positions with Telerep, Electronic Data Systems, and Group W Productions. He began his broadcast career in 1980 with the Entertainment Division of NBC, where he was promoted to Manager of Entertainment Production Finance.

Mr. Kruzic earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business in 1993. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an Option in Finance from California State University Northridge in 1980.
