Energy Telecom Announces the Awarding of U.S. Patent 6,950,531

MIAMI BEACH, Fla., Sept. 26, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Energy Telecom, Inc. (Pink Sheets:EYTL) (www.energytele.com) announced today that Tuesday, Sept. 27th, it will be awarded by the United States Patent and Trademark Office U.S. Patent 6,950,531.

This new utility patent further extends the patent protection Energy provides for a new family of wireless personal telecom products. This patent's many claims describe wireless information transmitted directly to the head of the wearer, the use of replaceable and disposable covers for the totally-in-ear audio delivery system of the product, and for the projection of optical information of any type to the wearer in a "heads-up, hands-free" manner. These features provide lightweight, simple, economical and comfortable access to the world's cellular and other wireless radio networks, and to all wired networks. These products will be worn by those listening to music, by those using Bluetooth-enabled cell phones, and by police, fire, rescue, military and security personnel, and those working in bio-hazardous, mining, construction and heavy manufacturing.

According to Mr. Tom Rickards, President of Energy Telecom, "The benefits of this important U.S. Continuation-in-Part patent clearly enhance the global protection umbrella we provide to the companies developing Energy's products."
