REYKJAVIK, Iceland, Oct. 11, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Svafa Gronfeldt has been appointed Deputy to the CEO of Actavis Group. Svafa joined Actavis in 2004 as Chief Executive of Strategy and Organisational Development. Her responsibility is to ensure that strategy and structure of the company is effectively developed and to manage projects designed to enhance efficiency and performance. Svafa will act as the CEO's representative and continuous to be a member of Actavis Executive Board.
