Michael Collado Named Vice President of Marketing and Business Development


LYNCHBURG, Va., Jan. 17, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Sitestar Corporation (OTCBB:SYTE), a provider of residential and business Internet access and value-added computer services, today announced the appointment of Internet and software industry veteran, Michael Collado, to Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. Mr. Collado bolsters the executive team with more than a decade of high-tech industry marketing and leadership experience.

As Vice President, Mr. Collado is focused on growing the Sitestar customer base, establishing indirect sales channel partnerships and increasing overall revenue. Prior to joining the Sitestar team, Mr. Collado served as Senior Director of Marketing at MobileAccess Networks, a $20M wireless infrastructure leader. During his tenure, MobileAccess partnered with healthcare industry leader GE Healthcare and won significant enterprise deals with the U.S. Senate, Denver Health and Lehman Bros.
