Securities Attorney Jeff Schulte to Preside Over Seminar

Morris, Manning & Martin Partners on Agenda of Basic Securities Seminar


ATLANTA, March 22, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Attorney Jeff Schulte will preside over an upcoming seminar on securities law. The Institute for Continuing Legal Education in Georgia will host the "Basic Securities Seminar" on Friday, March 31 from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Westin Hotel in Atlanta. The event is co-sponsored by the Securities Committee of the Business Law section of the State Bar of Georgia, which Schulte chairs.

Schulte is a Partner with Atlanta-based Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP. The IPO Lawyer Yearbook has ranked him among the top 20 securities attorneys in the U.S. He has also been honored by Atlanta magazine as a "Super Lawyer," ranking him among the top five percent of the lawyers in the state.

Schulte will deliver opening remarks and give an overview of the event. The agenda also includes Morris, Manning & Martin Partner Larry Shackelford, who regularly practices in the areas of financial institutions, corporate, and securities law. His topic will be "Where to Find the Information You Need."

The luncheon speaker will be Tonya Cureton Curry, Division Director and Assistant Commissioner of Securities in the Securities and Business Regulation Division of the Georgia Secretary of State's office. Adam Ross of Nasdaq will discuss the state of the securities market, and various local attorneys will address topics including federal registration of securities, state regulations and insider trading laws.
