LAS VEGAS, March 30, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- InRob Tech Ltd. ("InRob") (OTCBB:IRBL), a leader in the development and production of advanced wireless control systems and integrated solutions for unmanned ground vehicles (UGV), today announced that the Company has delivered the first of three tractors equipped with a special remote control systems to the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).
In less than a month, the Company was able to fully assemble and equip the tractor and conduct a series of rigorous testing along with IDF representatives at InRob Tech's laboratories. "Our team is very experienced and accustomed to working under pressure from engineering challenges and time pressure," says Mr. Shimon Shamai, VP of Research & Development at InRob Tech, "so the fast testing time is simply a result of the way we work. An important part of our reputation comes from our ability to deliver high quality products that have successfully passed all military standard testing."
The first unit will now undergo a series of field tests, conducted by the IDF, before the vehicle is put into operations. The Army plans to use these sophisticated remote control tractors for border operations, where cleaning and clearing of these operation-critical routes are critical on a day-to-day basis.
"Now that we have successfully passed all laboratory tests and delivered the first unit to The Army, we can rapidly complete the installation of the system on the final two units," concludes Shamai. The Company expects to receive the two tractors from the IDF for customization and installation in the coming days.
