California Software Releases New Version of INFINITE OLAP

LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif., April 17, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- California Software Corporation (Pink Sheets:CSWX), a leader in Legacy Extension, Business Intelligence and loan production software for banks, credit unions and consumer lending institutions and developer of the award-winning INFINITE product lines, announced today that it has begun shipping its latest release of the INFINITE OLAP product.

"This latest INFINITE OLAP release version 4.00.04 incorporates a complete .NET website using enhanced security with more granularity on the new documents tree, the ability to share these documents with other users, new data sources for gauges in order to create Balanced Scorecards and easily create and use dashboards, and provide more scalable analytics for iSeries users seeking easier to use BI tools. To that end, we are providing free downloads of the demo version on our www.infiniteolap.com web site," said Carol Conway, President, California Software.

Bruce Acacio, California Software's CEO said, "The BI market for the AS/400 and iSeries has been notorious for expensive and difficult to use products. Our latest release of INFINITE OLAP provides reporting and analytics at prices that are far lower than most tools that only provide reporting capabilities. In fact, the first user license is free. To download the latest version of INFINITE OLAP at no charge go to www.infiniteolap.com."

"California Software has moved closer to an open source model for its latest INFINITE OLAP product in that the first user license can be downloaded for free while subsequent licenses are available for purchase. This new model will be available for a limited time and a limited number of downloads to test the market," said Lynette Kane, Vice President, California Software.
