COSTA MESA, Calif., May 1, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Global investment bank RSM EquiCo today announced two new additions to RSM EquiCo Capital Markets LLC, the firm's broker-dealer subsidiary. Vice President Joe Lunkes will be based in the firm's Chicago office. James Hamilton, associate, will work from the headquarters in Costa Mesa, Calif.
"Both professionals come to the firm with extensive experience in valuation, finance and mergers and acquisitions. Their expertise will effectively complement our dealmaking teams and the advisory services we provide our clients," said Hector J. Cuellar, president of RSM EquiCo Capital Markets.
Joe Lunkes
Lunkes brings 20 years of middle market M&A and investment banking experience to client engagements, including managing buy and sell side M&A mandates, public and private debt, and equity capital offerings.
Prior to joining RSM EquiCo Capital Markets, he was a managing director in the investment banking departments of EVEREN Securities, Geneva Capital Markets and Dresner Investment Services. He began his banking career with Continental Bank in Chicago.
Lunkes received a bachelor's degree in accounting from Loyola University in Chicago and a master's degree in business administration from the Northwestern University J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He also earned his CPA certificate and holds Series 7 and 63 General Securities licenses.
James Hamilton
Prior to joining RSM EquiCo, Hamilton spent two years with a boutique M&A advisory firm focusing on corporate finance and middle market advisory services. In addition, he spent several years in business development roles for both TicketMaster and The Active Network.
Hamilton received a master's degree in business administration from The Graduate School of Business at San Diego State University. He also holds bachelor's degrees in sociology and Spanish literature from SDSU.
