EMS Technologies Joins Space Foundation as Patron Member


ATLANTA, May 25, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- EMS Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:ELMG) announced today that its Defense & Space Systems division has joined the Space Foundation as a patron member. EMS's membership gives it an active voice in certain of the Space Foundation's activities beneficial to the overall space community.

The Space Foundation is a non-profit organization that has supported activities to foster the development of commercial and defense-related space technology, national security and satellite communications, and to build a greater understanding and utilization of space-related opportunities for over 23 years.

Among its many activities, the Space Foundation hosts the annual National Space Symposium, which draws thousands of visitors each year to see the latest developments in space-related technology. EMS Technologies participates at these symposiums and has showcased many of its space-borne technologies that span strategic, communication, and environmental-sensing applications as well as airborne and terrestrial technologies for military and commercial satellite applications.
