Lantronix Appoints Chris Preston Senior Vice President of Marketing


IRVINE, Calif., Aug. 18, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Lantronix, Inc. Preston will be responsible for channel marketing, marketing communications, trade press relations, product management and overall product strategy.

Preston joins Lantronix with 19 years experience in marketing and sales for major technology and hardware brands. Most recently, as vice president of marketing for FileNet Corporation, Preston was instrumental in the development and growth of the FileNet Business Process Management (BPM) and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software business. His marketing, sales and agency experience includes Eastman Kodak Corporation's Business Imaging Systems equipment division, McKann Erickson, and SafeHarbor.com.
