Morris, Manning & Martin to Sponsor, Lead ION Venture Forum


ATLANTA, Oct. 13, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Representatives from Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP will play leading roles in this month's ION Venture Forum. The forum is set for Oct. 17-18 at Atlanta's Ritz-Carlton Buckhead. More than 100 top-tier venture capitalists from across the nation have registered to attend the event, which will be hosted by the Atlanta CEO Council, an exclusive organization for C-level executives.

Scott Gardner, Director of Strategic Development for Morris, Manning & Martin, will co-chair the event. John Yates, chair of the firm's Technology Group will deliver opening remarks. The firm is also a founding sponsor.

The ION Venture Forum will include presentations by 14 growing technology companies, as well as a panel discussion featuring the CIOs of leading companies including ChoicePoint, Cox Enterprises, The Weather Channel and Federal Home Bank of Atlanta. Investors will also preview early-stage technologies being developed at Georgia Tech's VentureLab and Advanced Technology Development Center.
