WASHINGTON, DC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- November 3, 2006 -- Here is a sneak peek of some of the happenings scheduled for this weekend's premiere of The Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show which is taking place this Friday, November 3rd through Sunday, November 5th at the Washington, D.C. Convention Center. This consumer event, for cooking and entertaining enthusiasts, will include a cooking demonstration stage; programs for adults and children; a non-cooking demonstration stage for presentations on table settings, flower arrangement, cake decorating, party planning, and bartending; wine tasting including books, party supplies, invitations, etc.; and, much more. Here are some of this weekend's featured highlights:

Friday, November 3rd - SHOW HOURS: 3:00 - 9:00 p.m.

--  5-9 p.m. -- Happy Hour -- Radio King Orchestra, sponsored by TequiPal
    and Cacao Reserve
--  6-8 p.m.  Wine & Beer Tastings -- Boutique wines and micro brew beers
    will be available
