CLE Professionalism Credit Granted for Workshop on Legal Project Management


ATLANTA, Nov. 9, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- One hour of Professionalism credit and general Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit is available for attorneys who participate in a new workshop on Legal Project Management. The workshops will be conducted for in-house lawyers and general counsel interested in improving the delivery of legal services through the use of project management.

Representatives from Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP will coordinate the workshops and provide an in-depth look into project management as a means of delivering legal services on time and on budget, and enhancing the professionalism within the attorney-client relationship.

The workshops focus on the efficiencies obtained by using project management in performing legal services in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, litigation and dispute resolution, and patent and intellectual property prosecution. In addition, case studies where legal project management has been used to improve communications, efficiency and transparency in the delivery of legal services by in-house and outside legal counsel will also be examined.

Seminar attendees will receive project management documentation and templates, including sample project plans, intake questionnaires of best practices, and sample status reports.
