Eaglecrest Explorations Ltd. (TSX:EEL) holds a large land position over a plateau rising out of the Bolivian jungle, near the border with Brazil. The ground has produced gold even before Jesuit priests began their mining in the 1700's. Eaglecrest began their exploration of the plateau in 1995, and have conducted over 50,000 metres of drilling since. Tagish Lake Gold Corp. (TSX-V:TLG) has the Skukum property southwest of Whitehorse, Yukon. There are a number of deposits on the property, and it saw production from one of them in the 1980s until gold prices closed the operation. Now Tagish Lake Gold has considerable infrastructure in place from that time. Over the past three years they've expanded the known mineral resources, and they also are anticipating a new feasibility study early in the New Year and plan to be in production by late 2008.
