Franklin Wireless Introduces Its CDX-650 CDMA2000 1xEV-DO Express Card-34 Mobile Broadband Modem
Provides Laptop Users Another Means of Connecting to Mobile Broadband Data Services

SAN DIEGO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- December 14, 2006 -- Franklin Wireless Corp. (PINKSHEETS : FKLT ), a
leading developer and marketer of wireless broadband communications devices
and applications, announced the launch of the Franklin Wireless CDX-650
mobile broadband Express Card-34 modem on South and North American
carriers' networks.
The Franklin Wireless CDX-650 Express Card-34 modem will be available
through South American carriers in the first quarter of 2007. The Express
card is designed to fit in the 34mm version of the Express Card slot that
comes with most PC laptops and high end Mac laptops produced today. The
modem is backward compatible with widely available CDMA2000 1x networks and
supports data-only EV-DO mobile broadband services with a peak downlink
speed of 2.4 Mbps.
The CDX-650 offers laptop users another means of connecting to CDMA 1xEV-DO
high-speed mobile broadband services enabling them to send and receive
email with large file attachments, play real-time interactive games,
receive and send high-resolution pictures and video, download video and
music content or stay wirelessly connected to their office PCs using the
same mobile device.
