Grill Concepts to Open a Daily Grill Restaurant in Tulsa Crowne Plaza Early 2008


LOS ANGELES, April 23, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Grill Concepts, Inc. (Nasdaq:GRIL) today announced it will enter the Tulsa, Oklahoma market with the opening of a Daily Grill restaurant within the Tulsa Crowne Plaza in early 2008. Occupying approximately 8,000 square feet, the Tulsa Daily Grill will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as provide room service for the 460-room hotel and bar service for the lobby. Under the management agreement with the hotel, Grill Concepts will receive a guaranteed management fee totaling $200,000 per year, along with customary profit sharing from the restaurant's operations.

The Tulsa Crowne Plaza is located in the city's downtown business district and is connected via a sky bridge to several high-rise buildings which include corporate offices for several nationally recognized firms. A new 18,000-seat arena is currently under construction three blocks from the hotel and scheduled to open in late 2008.
