Axis Network Document Server will be Bundled with New HP Scanjet to Improve
Productivity and Reduce Cost

Axis Communications announced today that AXIS 70U Network Document Server will
be bundled with the recently announced HP Scanjet 7650n Document Flatbed
Scanner. Ideal for small and medium businesses, the new bundle will offer
customers reduced costs and improved productivity. First available in Europe,
the Middle East and Africa in 2006, this offering is now extended to small and
medium business customers in the U.S. market.

“Sales of the AXIS 70U Network Document Server significantly increased in 2006
as a result of our bundle with HP,” said Fredrik Nilsson, general manager of
Axis Communications. “The solution has a proven track record in EMEA and we
believe that success will carry over into the U.S. market.”

The solution enables users to digitize and manage paper-based information by
simply scanning in a picture, form or document and selecting a destination
address from the distribution list on the AXIS 70U Network Document Server.
After pressing “send,” the scanned item is digitized and sent as an attachment
to the specified location in three easy steps. This solution significantly
lowers costs while increasing speed and reliability versus courier, fax or
traditional mail distribution. The solution can scan and send scanned materials
to email or fileservers and can be integrated with document archiving and
databases with a built-in XML API.

The HP Scanjet 7650n ships with the AXIS 70U and is expected to be available in
the United States starting June 2007.
