WASHINGTON, July 16, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- FierceMarkets (http://www.fiercemarkets.com) today announced that it has added telecom industry powerhouse Dan O'Shea and veteran trade journalist Deborah McAdams to the company's telecom team as part of its continued expansion of editorial talent.
O'Shea, previously editor-in-chief of Telephony Magazine, will contribute to Fierce's existing suite of telecom publications and will also spearhead the development of a new telecom publication, to be launched later this quarter.
O'Shea brings 14 years of telecom journalism experience to the Fierce team. He joined Telephony in 1993 as assistant news editor, covering the long-distance sector and emerging data access technology and has been a major editorial presence in the industry for the past decade.
McAdams, most recently a Managing Editor at IMAS Publishing, joins the Fierce team as Senior Editor of leading telecom publications FierceIPTV and FierceVoIP.
McAdams has a solid background in trade journalism and has spent the last decade covering the digital television transition for leading publications including Television Broadcast Magazine, CableFAX Daily, and Broadcasting & Cable.
