NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - July 23, 2007) - TriPoint Global Equities, LLC ("TriPoint"), a NASD member firm, is pleased to announce that is has commenced operations. The founders of TriPoint Capital Advisors, LLC, a boutique financial advisory firm and merchant bank formed TriPoint to be an investment bank. TriPoint provides U.S. and non-U.S. companies of up to $200 million in revenue with capital raising services, corporate finance advisory services and assistance with navigating the regulatory environment of companies listing on U.S. markets. TriPoint maintains specialized practices in institutional private placements, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance.

TriPoint is positioned to assist new and growing companies in today's business environment. Its principals have successfully worked with over 100 public and private companies within a wide range of industries. Each of the firm's principals has developed, managed, operated and worked with new businesses, as well as rapidly growing and evolving organizations. TriPoint is also pleased to announce that John Finley has joined the firm as Head of Investment Banking. Mr. Finley oversees the Investment Banking group and is responsible for TriPoint's relationships with issuers and providing them with advice on capital raising, financial instrument structuring and business development. Products covered include follow-on offerings, convertibles, private placements, PIPEs and M&A advisory services. He is also responsible for building out the investment banking team in the U.S. and Asia.

Prior to joining TriPoint, Mr. Finley was the primary broker/banker relationship manager at the management company for the Vision Opportunity Master Fund, Ltd hedge fund ("Vision"). Vision invests in structured equity and PIPE transactions. Mr. Finley also developed Vision's China initiative: over two months in China were spent helping to close transactions and develop relationships with Chinese companies, bankers, and brokers.

TriPoint has also appointed Sean Martin as Head of Capital Markets. Mr. Martin oversees the Capital Markets group for TriPoint where he interfaces with both issuers and investors to determine the most effective financial instruments available for our clients' needs. He has significant expertise in raising capital and extensive relationships with institutional investors and funds.

Mr. Martin started his financial career with Shearson Lehman Brothers in 1991, where he worked in the Private Client Group until 1996 (at which point the firm was called Solomon Smith Barney). In 1996, he moved to Paine Webber's High Net Worth/Private Client Group, where he managed the accounts of institutional and private high net worth investors. In 2002, after Paine Webber had been purchased by UBS, Mr. Martin pursued a career with Vfinance Investments, focusing entirely on the small-cap market and raising capital for small-cap companies. In the last five years, he has raised millions of dollars for many successful small-cap companies including many companies based in China. In addition to capital raising, he has completed many reverse mergers, i.e. bringing companies public (by use of an existing public "shell" company) on U.S. exchanges, including the Nasdaq and OTC Bulletin Board.
