KMA Global Solutions International More Than Doubles Its Production Capacity of Its Popular DualTag

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, July 27, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- KMA Global Solutions International, Inc. (OTCBB:KMAG) (Frankfurt:VVS), today announced that as a result of recent dramatic growth in the demand for its DualTag product, it will be dramatically increasing its DualTag production capacity through the implementation of another high-speed DualTag manufacturing line.

Working from an advanced design developed through KMA's extensive DualTag production experience, coupled with the opportunity to employ computerized controls and more versatile tooling, KMA's new DualTag line will be capable of producing all versions of DualTags at a rate that far exceeds the capacity of the existing lines, with far less downtime than that normally associated with changeover, improving efficiency, increasing capacity and driving down DualTag production costs.

DualTag is KMA's Patent-Pending, self-adhesive source tagging label that incorporates elements of the two most popular EAS technologies used by retail stores around the world. Capable of being applied at high speed to the inside of packages containing such products as OTC medications, nutriceutical food supplements, electronic games and accessories, and health and beauty products, the DualTag has become the source-tagging solution of choice for many items in these product categories and more. DualTag allows the brand owner to maintain just one version of each product in its supply chain rather than managing multiple inventories that differ only by the EAS technology for which they have been prepared.

Jeffrey D. Reid, CEO of KMA Global Solutions International, Inc., said, "We are very pleased to see our newest DualTag unit come on line." Mr. Reid went on to say, "The popularity of DualTag has spiked significantly in a number of market sectors over the course of the past several months, creating somewhat of a challenge for us to meet the demand. The speed and capacity of this new line should give us a bit of breathing room."

In recent years, retailers have increasingly demanded retail floor ready merchandise that includes Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) protection. Under KMA's source tagging program, security tags are embedded in products or affixed to packaging at the point-of-manufacture. The company's patented NEXTag(tm), a low cost sewn-in solution, DualTag, and accessory products are used by retailers and their suppliers the world over.
