Superior Offshore International to Reschedule Second Quarter 2007 Earnings Release and Conference Call Schedule


HOUSTON, Aug. 7, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Superior Offshore International, Inc. (Nasdaq:DEEP), a leading provider of subsea construction and commercial diving services to the oil and gas industry, today announced that it has postponed the release of its second quarter 2007 results, previously scheduled for Wednesday August 8, 2007, and the related conference call previously scheduled to take place on Thursday August 9, 2007. The Company will reschedule the release and conference call and expects to file its Form 10-Q for the period ended June 30, 2007 within the time permitted by the rules of the Securities and Exchange Commission.
