KMA Global Solutions International Announces a Multi-Million Unit Order From JVC Disc For Its New Dual Tag Multimedia Product

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Aug. 23, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- KMA Global Solutions International, Inc. (OTCBB:KMAG) (Frankfurt:VVS) today announced a new agreement involving several million units annually for its new non-adhesive, insertable Dual Tag product, specifically designed to protect multimedia products. JVC Disc, the well-known multimedia giant plans to use Dual Tag to protect DVD's and gaming software it supplies to retail stores.

Dual Tag(tm) is KMA's Patent-Pending, source-tagging label incorporating the key elements of the two most popular EAS technologies used by retail stores around the world. KMA's newest Dual Tag(tm) is designed to be inserted at high speed inside of disc packaging to allow the brand owner to maintain just one version of each product in its supply chain rather than managing multiple inventories that differ only by the EAS technology.

Disc-based multimedia products such as movies and games are sold in a wide variety of store types including discount, electronics, specialty, book and other multimedia outlets. Most chain stores and many independents use one of two types of Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) systems to protect goods from shoplifting and require that their vendors source-tag using EAS labels compatible with a particular store's EAS system prior to shipment to the store. Meeting that requirement is a significant issue for the suppliers of multimedia goods as they must carry at least two inventories of each product - one for each of the EAS technologies. Source-tagging for multimedia is an estimated $50 Million market overall.

Jeffrey D. Reid, CEO of KMA Global Solutions International, Inc., said, "We are very excited to experience such tremendous initial success with this newly released product. We are confident that there is much more to come. He went on to say, "As disc-based multimedia products grow not only in popularity but in variety, and find their way into more mainstream retail stores, the inventory challenge for the brand owners has also grown. KMA's Dual Tag(tm) has been helping to solve difficult inventory problems in other sectors, and with our new non-adhesive, insertable Dual Tag, we are confident that this new product will be of significant interest to this very large sector."
