NetManage Librados Adapters Enhance Integration Capabilities for Denologix

dxInformationPortal to Offer Major Financial Services Companies Collaboration Around Information Systems With NetManage Librados Adapters

CUPERTINO, Calif., Sept. 24, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- NetManage, Inc. (Nasdaq:NETM), a software company that provides the fastest way to transform legacy applications into new Web-based business solutions, today announced that Denologix, Inc., a technology and business process consulting firm focusing on SOA deployments and integration projects, has chosen NetManage Librados adapters to complete its dxInformationPortal offering, which enables its financial services customers to access business-critical financial information from disparate systems.

By integrating information systems with dxInformationPortal using NetManage Librados adapters, Denologix customers can now access financial information through a Web interface, which allows them to collaborate on projects and reduce the time it takes to acquire relevant information. With this new system, agents can process a client request in minutes rather than days.

"NetManage was nimble and agile throughout the process; therefore, we were able to implement Librados adapters in less than six weeks and can now better meet our customers' requirements," said Shaz Ahmed, chief executive officer of Denologix. "As a result of this experience and the value of the NetManage products, we are considering Librados adapters for additional implementations to integrate claims and policy systems."

Librados adapters expose back-end enterprise system functionality and data into any J2EE-compliant application server, Web server or stand-alone environment, without being locked-in to a server vendor. Enterprise applications can be Web-enabled and integrated with business processes from other enterprise information systems with minimal programming effort. With NetManage's pure Java Librados adapters, there is no additional software to install outside of the server environment. Moreover, with NetManage Librados adapters, the prohibitive cost of enterprise application integration is avoided through the company's unique, low-cost licensing option for independent software vendors. NetManage also provides low-cost server and site license options for end user customers, along with comprehensive maintenance and support.

"NetManage understands that each enterprise faces a unique integration challenge," said Zvi Alon, chairman, president and chief executive officer at NetManage, Inc. "By customizing our solutions and offering optional source code, NetManage ensures that customers such as Denologix have the flexibility to build tailored solutions to suit their customers' needs."
