Harsco Names New Corporate Treasurer


HARRISBURG, Pa., Oct. 9, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Worldwide industrial services company Harsco Corporation (NYSE:HSC) announced today that Gary J. Findling has joined the Company as Vice President and Treasurer.

Mr. Findling brings to the position more than 25 years of international treasury and cash management experience, serving most recently as Treasurer of Hayes Lemmerz International, one of the world's leading global suppliers of automotive wheels and braking and powertrain components with operations in 13 countries worldwide. Before that, Mr. Findling served as Vice President and Treasurer of Grove Worldwide, a leading global manufacturer and marketer of construction equipment, and as Assistant Treasurer at Aeroquip-Vickers Incorporated, which manufactures and distributes engineered components for the industrial, aerospace and automotive industries worldwide. A Certified Public Accountant and Certified Cash Manager, Mr. Findling holds a Master of Science degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Ohio University.

The naming of Mr. Findling continues a series of appointments announced earlier this month within Harsco's senior leadership team in conjunction with the Company's previously announced CEO succession plans.
