(Nasdaq:ICGN) today announced that Dr. Neil Castle, Director of Biology at Icagen, and Dr. Aaron Gerlach, Ph.D., Senior Research Scientist at Icagen, will participate in Neuroscience 2007, the 37th annual meeting of the Society for Neuroscience to be held in San Diego, California on November 3 through November 7, 2007.
Dr. Castle's presentation, "Modulation of TREK-1 Potassium Channel Function by Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors," is scheduled for Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 1 p.m. Pacific Time. Dr. Gerlach's presentation, "Sub-type Selective Activation of KCNQ2/3 Channels Modulates the Excitability of Nociceptive Dorsal Root Ganglion Neurons," is scheduled for Monday, November 5, 2007 at 3 p.m. Pacific Time.
