LED Backlight Technology is a More Energy Efficient and Environmentally Friendly Technology

ONTARIO, Calif., Nov. 27, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- SOYO Inc. (OTCBB:SOYO), an innovative provider of computer and consumer electronics products, announced today that they will debut monitors featuring LED Backlight Technology at CES in January 2008.

LED Technology is ideal for SOYO's future products because it has a wider color spectrum, with the ability to display more than 110% National Television System Committee (NTSC) color gamut compared to cold cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL). LED Technology is also more environmentally safe, saving around 40%-60% of power consumption and contains close to no lead content compared to cold cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL).

Clifford Chun, Project Manager for SOYO said, "LED Technology is perfect for graphic designers, gamers and photographers, who desire accurate colors with a more detailed life-like visual experience. Additionally, LED monitors can be used in a variety of X-Ray viewing technologies. By using LED Backlight Technology in our future monitors, we will be able to provide the end-user with more true-to-life colors and superior performance while providing more energy efficient and environmentally friendly products."
