SOYO debuted their Honeywell Consumer Electronics product lines to the public for the first time and received positive feedback from customers, industry analysts, media, manufacturer's representatives and even some competitors. Particular interest was shown by the public toward the Honeywell Consumer Electronics (CE) product lines revealing the unique design and eye-catching picture clarity of the Altura(tm) Series LCD Full HD TV's and the Arius(tm) Series LCD Monitors with their full range of motion and integrated web cameras and microphones. Also gaining attention were the sleek looks of the Airlite(tm) 700 and SecuraDrive(tm) portable hard drives which were praised for their innovative features and slim design.
SOYO secured a 2,000 square foot booth space at the front of the Central Hall location. This put SOYO in close proximity to industry leaders such as LG Electronics, Panasonic, Texas Instruments and Microsoft. SOYO's custom-built two-story booth featured a stylish home theatre section, which elegantly showcased the Honeywell Altura(tm) 70 inch LCD HDTV. In order to tend to all of the questions and interest shown towards the TV's and all of the other product lines, the booth needed to be staffed with 26 SOYO employees each day of the show. Also, SOYO's ten sales executives attended CES fully booked with scheduled meetings and additional 260 individual meetings over the four day span.
Additionally, SOYO launched their new Honeywell product web site, www.honeywellce.com, the day of CES which features product photography and specifications for the entire Honeywell Consumer Electronics product line up. Pushed heavily at CES through giveaway bags and product spec sheets, the Honeywell CE site continues to receive a high volume of traffic, with thousands of page hits per day.
